Cultural Learnings of Canada for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Israel

It's been over a month here, in the country where ice cream bars first appeared on this world millions of years ago (unfortunately, while the ingredients were still inside the cow).
During this time, I have reaffirmed my already quite substantiated belief that I can waste time in a tremendously efficient way. I don't even notice wasting it while it's being wasted, and that is mighty strange indeed.

Anyway, over a month has passed, seemingly unnoticed. I have commenced Spanish studies and am now half way through the beginners course. Learning a new language is such a horizon broadening experience, and already I can be misunderstood in so more many ways than in the past.

Yesterday I made peanut butter chip cookies. I have created a monster.
Almost half are already gone, consumed by a vicious mob comprised of a couple of flat mates whose names will be kept discreet. I must admit I have also partaken in the looting. I consider giving the cookies to trick or treating kids, if I stumble upon any. That may be the only way to save us, the poor residents of flat 808, from the certain obesity associated with consuming all these cookies.

Happy Halloween, everybody!

Ni Hao

My China travelogue is now online, at: http://realtravel.com/china-trips-i2391111.html.
Albeit being of no consequence to humanity at large, it's something I felt should find a resting place.
